NEWS: HP Tablet Release Date Announced

Dixons1106131435363-1.jpgHewlett-Packard has announced the release date of its new TouchPad tablet.
The TouchPad, to be launched on July 1, will be the first HP tablet to be powered with WebOS.
With built-in support for Adobe Flash Player and HTML 5, it will sport a 9.7 inch display.
Although the 3G version of the tablet is not available yet and there are less than 10,000 apps in the store at the moment, it is the latest to join the line of competitors against Apple’s Wi-Fi version of the iPad 2. It is also set to take on Android tablets.
The 16GB model of the tablet will be available for around £399 and the cost of 32GB version will be about £479.
HP’s TouchPad tablet will be available for pre-order starting on June 19.
