MWC 2015: The best smartwatches from LG and Huawei

LG and Huawei have unveiled stunning looking smartwatches at MWC 2015. Read on to find out more.

LG Watch Urbane

Lg Watch Urbane

With its classic design, the LG Watch Urbane is clearly going for a stylish and timeless look. This is an updated version of the previous LG G Watch R with a new metal design available in silver or rose gold. The design is sleeker and more elegant than the previous model, looking more like a traditional wristwatch than some of the more sporty designs we've seen recently. For those who like to customise their look, a range of interchangable leather and metal wristbands will be available at launch.

The Urbane is powered by Android Wear and has a number of built-in sensors including a barometer and heart-rate monitor, as well as 4 GB of internal storage.

Huawei Watch

Huawei

The Huawei Watch aims for a high-end design, with its corrosion-resistant stainless steels body and traditional circular display. And that's where things really get high-end. This is the first ever smartwatch with a sapphire crystal display - a material normally only seen in top-of-the-range watches.

As with the LG Watch Urbane, you'll be able to get a range of leather and metal wristbands to suit your style, although the Huawei band is slightly narrower at 18mm compared to the LG's 22mm.

The Huawei Watch is also powered by Android Wear and, as a bonus, the Huawei comes with 40 different watch faces preloaded so you can find one that expresses your personality.
