Juicing vs. blending in London

Philips hosted a fantastic evening with London based lifestyle and fitness bloggers.

Last week, we invited 20 lifestyle bloggers to a lively juicing v. blending event in London’s Kings Cross. After finding their way to the Diagon Alley-like venue, bloggers were greeted with wraps and coconut juice. Experts from Raw & Juicy then gave a quick talk on the pros and cons of juicing vs blending. For more info, read this previous Tech Talk article.

The evening continued with a welcome from Currys and Philips. Attendees were then treated to a mocktail masterclass from the Cocktail Service. After receiving a perfectly blended mocktail called ‘Berries Matter’, the bloggers, on a slight sugar high, tried their hand making breakfast smoothies, apple and carrot boosters, and even something called The Natasha. The mocktail is made of pomegranate juice blended with mint and lin seeds, and charged with freshly juiced lemon and elderflower. The fantastic juicers and blenders were provided by Philips and included the Avance 2L blender and the Viva collection 700w juicer.

The bloggers wasted no time tweeting about the event and before long the #CurrysIntrojuicing feed was filling up with pics of fruit and juicing paraphernalia.

The winners of the best tweet and pic on the night were Lucy from www.curiouser-and-curiouser.co.uk/ and Natasha from danceflowlift.com. A big shout out to Vita Coco, Raw & Juicy, the Cocktail service, Katie from Philips, and everyone who attended on the night!
