The Ultimate Home of Football hits the road
We’re as serious about football as we are TV tech so we’ve brought together the best of both – and it’s coming to a city near you.
Our Ultimate Home of Football is hitting the road for a Summer Tour, packed with the latest TVs and audio kit. Our very own squad of Home Nations football experts – including pundit Chris Kamara – will be on-board for certain matches. We’ve even brought the pizza.
Sounds good? You can be in with a chance to climb aboard and ‘own’ the Ultimate Home of Football for the duration of one match. Find out more here...
What is the Ultimate Home of Football?
We’ve snapped up a high-end RV motorhome, and set our team of experts to task on a refit that will have football and tech fans drooling. It’s a Fleetwood Pace Arrow motorhome – as Auto Trader magazine once said, it’s ‘as close to a house on wheels as you can get’. While its makers call it ‘drop-dead gorgeous’.
Make no mistake, this is a colossal vehicle. At more than 10 metres long – you’ll certainly see us coming.
What tech will be on-board?
Loads. We’re talking super-sharp 4K UHD TVs with large screens and booming stereo sound from top of the range audio tech. Massive sofas and comfy chairs to get cosy on.
There’ll be tablets for checking scores of other matches. And an Xbox One for recreating classic matches from days gone by – 1996 or 1966, anyone?
Why are we doing it?
To share our love of tech and football with you. Our converted touring RV will show all the fixtures for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, as well as many other European nations.
We’ll be showing 42 matches over the tournament. So whichever of the 24 nations you’re rooting for, you’re in with a chance of experiencing the ultimate in TV football.
Which famous football faces will be along for the ride?
We’ve enlisted our own team of Home Nations experts – led by footy pundit Chris Kamara and TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher.
Others to take a seat on board include Welsh footballing legend John Hartson and former Republic of Ireland star Paul McGrath. Northern Ireland’s David Healy will also be hitching a ride.
Kamara, Kirsty and our other footie experts will climb aboard the bus to each host one match.
How can I bag a seat on board?
Enter our competition to be in with a chance of taking over the bus with up to 9 friends (10 people in total) for the duration of one whole match. Winners will also be treated to free beer and the ultimate football snack – our ‘game of two halves’ pizza.
Where are we going?
We’re rocking up to cities in the north and the south, the east and the west. Across England and into Wales and over the water to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
We’ll kick off in mad-for-it Manchester for England and Wales’ first group games on June 11. When Northern Ireland get under way on June 12 we’ll be in Belfast.
We’ll be in Cardiff for the massive Home Nations’ clash between England and Wales on June 16.
As the group stages draw to a (hopefully) thrilling close we’ll be in London, before heading to Newcastle for the start of the knockout stage.
