After scooping up gadget awards for the iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone 4 in the Stuff Gadget Awards 2010 just days ago, Apple are keeping the hits coming with the major announcement today that the greatest rock band ever, The Beatles, are now finally available to download on iTunes!

Yesterday, Apple put an exciting teaser on their website and iTunes homepage that said: 'Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget.' The launch was painstakingly long-awaited as Apple negotiated with the bands management and record label for years to bring the band's enormous and influential catalogue of music online.

The announcement was made at 3pm today while bloggers and journo's across the web speculated as to whether the announcement had to do with the launch of the most anticipated operating system for the iPad, the iOS 4.2 update or a cloud-based streaming service for iTunes - both still on the cards.

With the success of the iPad so far, the awards and recent launches of the updated iPods, it's clear that Apple are working Eight Days a Week to hold on to it's reputation as being one of the most innovative, exciting and customer-focused brands around the world today.
