Dixons1104131245421-1.jpgApproximately 100,000 people are expected to visit The Gadget Show Live at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham over the next few days.
The consumer show is running for a third year and features 250 of the world’s top electronics companies.

Nintendo, JVC, Panansonic, Samsung, Sony and LG are among the firms to show off their most exciting products at the exhibition. 3D televisions will prove to be a big attraction to visitors, with many getting the chance to see the technology come to the small screen for the first time.

Gadget fans can also get their hands on the latest tablet computers. Samsung is showing off its Galaxy Tab, while the new Motorola Xoom and Acer’s Iconia A500 and W500 tablets will also be available to try out.

Meanwhile, Dyson has put examples of its engineer’s design books on display. The company is notoriously protective of its ideas and goes to great lengths to keep them from competitors.

Regular viewers of the hit Channel Five show can even rub shoulders with presenters Suzi Perry, Jason Bradbury, Ortis Deley, Jon Bentley and Pollyanna Woodward.
The event runs from April 13 to 17.
