If you’re a big music fan and love listening to tunes on the go, you’ll have probably heard of a brand called Sennheiser. They’re an electronics company that’s taking the audio world by storm with their legendary, high-quality headphones. Over 60% of global artists now use the brand's microphones, so they must be on to something!
Last night, we invited bloggers to find out what all the fuss is about at our exclusive #soundsofsennheiser event. THeld at the Noir bar in London, the workshop helped bloggers brush up on their DJing skills and music knowledge. It was also a chance to celebrate Sennheiser's 70th anniversary, this year.
Getting to know the bass-ics
Guests were greeted with delicious cocktails and canapes on arrival, while local DJ John the Baptist kick-started the evening with an awesome set. It wasn’t long before guests were on the decks too, learning how to DJ like a pro and pump out banging tunes.
Setting the record straight
Next came an informative vinyl appreciation session. Music expert James Thompson explained why old school records are making a come-back and chatted about their enhanced sound quality.
One of the most eagerly anticipated parts of the evening was trying on Sennheiser’s new Momentum 2.0 headphones. The super-snug range comes with folding headbands and super clear sound.
A sound evening
By 9pm, it was time to call it night. Our bloggers headed home with a packed goodie bag of Sennheiser accessories. Plus, each will receive their own pair of Momentum headphones to review very soon. Check out the #soundsofsennheiser hashtag for more pics and tweets from the event.
A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant evening. And, a special thank you to Sennhheiser for hosting the event.
