NEWS: Zumba On Top For Fifth Week Running
Zumba Fitness from 505 Games has topped the UKIE Gfk Chart-Track All Formats Top 40 for the fifth week in a row, giving it a total of eight weeks at the number one spot since the launch of the Wii version.
The hugely successful dance-fitness video game managed to retain its top spot in spite of a fall in week-on-week sales.
EA’s Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows Part 2 could only manage a seventh place in its first week.
Chart-Track said it is “by far the lowest ever sales in a launch week for a Harry Potter game”, despite charting higher than the first Deathly Hallows game, which debuted at number 20.
Activision’s fellow film tie-in Transformers: Dark of the Moon improved its position by one place to number two.
EA Sports Active 2 came in at number eight with a 338% rise in sales, driven by significant price reductions.
EA’s Deathly Hallows Part 1 re-entered the chart at number 32.
