Mammoth LG TV set for Gadget Show launch
26 Nov 2012|
The evolution of the television takes a giant leap forward at upcoming Gadget Show with the UK launch of a new 84-inch LG.
The ultra high definition 4K TV known as the LG 84LM960V will be launched at the Gadget Show Live @ Christmas at London's ExCel.
The UK unveiling comes after it was released in Korea. The show will be the first time us Brits have been able to see the TV in real life.
Some eight million pixels per frame are packed into the full HD display, creating a resolution four times greater than the 1080p standard.
People can get up close and personal with the new set by attending the London show, where a closer look will put to the test LG's claim it's "nearly impossible to discern a single pixel - even from inches away".
And with seven pairs of compatible 3D glasses provided, people can always get the second opinion of friends and family when viewing the new TV.
Part of a new generation of TVs redefining how we use our televisions, the LG is fully integrated for Smart features. It also features an LG Magic Remote.
Among other products to be launched at the ExCel are the eagerly awaited Wii U from Nintendo and another LG TV amid a host of cutting-edge consumer tech.
The Wii U will likely grab plenty of headlines on the day though, with an innovative tablet-like control pad to which gamers have been counting down the days to try out.
Nintendo defines the new Game Pad as an "extraordinary new
controller that redefines the dynamic of playing games
Gadget Show Live @ Christmas takes place between November 30 and December 2.
